Stage Makeup Tips How Does An Actor Use Stage Makeup To Make Themself Look Younger?

How does an actor use stage makeup to make themself look younger? - stage makeup tips

I'm an actor, and I have found in my fair share of shows, theaters and took in high school and learned a lot of tips and techniques on makeup.

But all my training and experience, I never learned to look my younger age ... Yes, different look, with scars on tons of material, but never me younger.

The closest I got was the "boys" to see made in their composition, if I Oliver! My third class. I had to look me over, but the thing is that there is a SA production, and many children with little girls, only the composition of the road with excessive redness.

The problem is: I play Linus're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, a community theater.

They are no longer all make-up TEACH, and it seems none of them has experienced this before Wilma and less experienced people are turning us help.

Any help from someone with experience is very welcome!

Remember that makeup is the art scene, creating an illusion for an audience yards less. This is not the same as makeup for film and television. No close-ups on stage. It's not really save much younger. Just published "marginal".

Keep in mind that the public does not buy into the fantasy that is the fully developed adult child of five years.

Start with a good foundation. Even the so-called "pancake" is close to a good start, even in larger wrinkles and folds. The colors that you should take advantage of the dark circles and uneven skin tones to clarify. Do not forget the blush to add a young "colored" on her cheeks.

Test your brand as soon as the lighting director to do for them. Have someone sit in the front row for the moment to see if the make-up has the desired effect.

Think about trying not to believe someone, it is indeed a child of five years are a fool. Just soften the & qEdge uot; adults.

Break a leg!

Well, rosy cheeks, you really do look younger. Moreover, the new face they look young.

So, I do not exaggerate the eyes or other features such as wrinkles (duh, but it did).

Maybe you want as a youth in a pony tail hair styles, or try, as Collick or something.

Hope you are the best ever, Linus! Good luck!
