Osteoarthritis Shoulder Will I Get In Uni To Train As A Nurse If I Have Osteoarthritis?

Will i get in uni to train as a nurse if i have osteoarthritis? - osteoarthritis shoulder

I suffer from arthritis in his left shoulder, I want to enter college to train as a nurse be prevented. I know you have a health check at work before and her doctor must fill out the forms. I hope this does not prevent me to the condition than I with glucosamine and pain relievers, if necessary, to manage.

There is no reason why it should not be accepted if you have appropriate entry requirements. Perhaps in your training you will find that alternative therapies such as glucosamine of little value. Exercise as much as possible to keep your back free.

Good luck, it's a tough grind.

You will have difficulties. You know your body and what Wil know your limits. Do not worry about anything, because the repeal disappeared day (or should be). There are many mechanical aids for moving and handling (or should be by law). Workers slide plates are used for difficult patients in bed.

My friends mother had rheumatoid bad as a nurse and hurt in the end very badly if I see someone who at one time because it had to retire had a lift, so there are risks. I'm never in training as a paramedic I have bad knees and it can have more influence with rheumatoid arthritis. Maybe you need a certain type of care as a field of pediatrics to choose where the withdrawal is not so difficult.

BAS has a policy of equality for all Opps long as the terms and conditions for care has, is a place. even know its limits, but the practice of lifting patients in these days is not common, and more often if it is not necessary that a place should be lifted. I began my training in April. Good luck.

Hmmm, I do not want to be negative about his ambition ... But as a professional health ... Maybe you do not find themselves in a position with duties as a nurse is required .. Theres a lot of repetition involved in conduct ... Make the beds 20-30 times, ... shirfting people in bed, rolling the patient to support them when they are reduced mobility ...

Its just important when you are completely phyically power ... Imagine, if you do not support someone, and they were .. She would be responsible for ...

I suggest that you are the only person who spoke the limits of his actual condition, with instructor knows ... But ask yourself ... Are they even had the beginning of the fall ...

I hope not, and I hope that they will succeed, but if you were denied your doctor or health questionnaire entrance, I say it was the best of what all interested ....

Best wishes

Command in the 3rd Year of nursing, not the formation does not prevent ... Ù expected to take the same responsibilities as other students perform, but we are lifting and moving patients, etc. The use of aids and appliances, does not remove physically push and pull of this situation day. U must manage the use of lifting devices such as levers, but they do not put too much stress on you. I know a young girl suffering from deafness ..... his training, if u have a disability and to achieve a possibility of the tasks of daily nursing care or to be accepted can be found! Good luck

consider the job if you qualify in the care - lifting heavy patients, many of the flexion and extension - Would it not be better to reconsider?

should not be a problem, but only be aware that sometimes you can have things that lift.
